DSR1 Desktop Sputter Coater for SEM/TEM sample preparation

Vac Techniche DESKTOP COATERS

DSR1 Desktop SEM/TEM Sputter coater

Sample preparation using sputter coating is the recognised method for non-conductive and low conductive specimens or samples.
Vac Techniche DSR1 has been developed to exceed the requirements for SEM/TEM sample preparation.
The compact and easy to use sputter coater, has the option of using existing pumps or supplied with a pump.
For external pumping the on board computer controls the pump or pumping rig.
Larger samples can be accommodated with our increase vacuum chamber DSR-L and DST-L system

PLD: Compact Desktop Thin Film PLD System with Thermal Evaporation

£0.00

DESKTOP COATERS

PLD: Compact Desktop Thin Film PLD

Pulsed Laser Deposition technique leads to efficient, none-thermal ablation and preserves the stoichiometry of the target materials. By applying this method it could deposit materials such as nitrides, oxides, super lattices, polymers, composites.

PLD is equipped with a multi-target manipulator which includes three 2 cm diameter. Targets are in standard size. All of our target manipulators are motorized and includes target rotation

PLD-T: Compact Desktop Thin Film PLD with 3 Evaporation sources

PLD – T is a high vacuum thin film deposition system enables to deposit different materials by both Pulsed Laser Deposition and so thermal evaporation technique.

It can deposit complex materials and crystalline structures onto substrates with very little setup involved.

PLD – T is equipped with a multi-target manipulator which includes three 2 cm diameter.

Targets are in standard size. All of our target manipulators are motorized and includes target rotation

Thermal evaporation sources (Boat / Basket / Coil)

The PLD – T is fitted with three independent heat resistance thermal evaporation sources. Design of the evaporation source holder avoids cross contamination from sources materials to other materials.

The length of source holders can be adjusted in the range of 5~10 cm which meets the costumer requirement.

Vac Coat DTT is also available for evaporation deposition system designed for commercial and research use.

Triple Thermal Evaporation Desktop Coating System

EVAPORATION COATERS

Triple Thermal Evaporation Desktop Coating System

The Vac Techniche triple thermal source desktop coater provides a very versatile thermal evaporation system for a vast range of source materials in various forms from wire, cord, pellets and powders, compatible with Boat/basket and coil source holders.

For ease of use, the touch 7″ colour screen control with fully automatic control, data input, and display is designed for easy use for experienced and inexperienced operators.

The control system allows upto 300 historical processed to be recorded.

Three independent heat resistance thermal evaporation sources.

Evaporation source holder designed causes no contamination from source materials on each other.

The length of the source holders can be adjusted in the range of 50mm~90mm.

Co-Evaporation upgrade available

Evaporation sources

    • boat
    • basket
    • coil/wire

Vacuum System consists of:

Heat resistance, Cylindrical Pyrex with 300 mm OD and 200 mm H.

90 L/s turbomolecular pump fitted directly to tge vacuum envelop base plate and backed by a Vac Coat 4m3/h two-stage rotary pump which introduces clean vacuum without the oil contamination that is normally present with an ordinary diffusion pump

Dry backing pump option is also available

The DTT triple evaporation source selection is ideal for deposition of multilayers or alloys.

The DTT, with integral turbo pumping reaches pressure quickly allowing the coating process to commence in a matter of minutes. It is ideal for research, laboratory and product applications

Ultrasonic Homogenizer (400W)

ULTRASONIC MIXERS

Ultrasonic Homogenizer (400W)

Ultrasonic homogenizer is a special and unique product which is applicable for laboratory and small scale manufacturing applications

The device is suitable for developing and performing scientific research.

It has 20 kHz working frequency with adjustable power range between 0-400 W.

It operates in pulse mode and total duration of reaction is also adjustable. In addition, it is equipped with thermometer which is for regulating the temperature of the reaction chamber.

How the Ultrasonic Homogenizer Works

The ultrasonic power supply (generator) converts 50/60 Hz voltage to high frequency electrical energy. This alternating voltage is applied to disc-shaped ceramic piezoelectric crystals within the converter, causing them to expand and contract with each change of polarity.

These longitudinal vibrations are amplified by the probe (horn) and transmitted into the liquid as ultrasonic waves consisting of alternate expansions and compressions. The pressure fluctuations pull the liquid molecules apart creating micro-bubbles (cavities), which expand during the negative pressure excursions, and implode violently during the positive excursions.

As the bubbles collapse, millions of shock waves eddies and extremes in pressures and temperatures are generated at the implosion sites. Although this phenomenon, known as cavitation, lasts but a few microseconds, and the amount of energy released by each individual bubble is minimal, the cumulative amount of energy generated is extremely high.

The high shear energy delivered is at maximum near the tip of the probe, and decreases as the distance away from the tip increases.

Compared to mechanical homogenizers, ultrasonic processing is fast and highly reproducible.

Probes are practically self cleaning, and by virtue of their design, account for negligible sample losses. When used with environmentally safe aqueous cleaning solutions, the Homogenizer becomes a powerful cleaning tool, capable of removing the most tenacious contaminants from normally inaccessible locations. Unlike ultrasonic baths, which dissipate the vibrational energy over a large area, the Homogenizer probe focuses the energy to create a concentrated, high intensity cleaning zone.
